Who's Responsibility is this anyways?

Homemaking or (Designing) can be really stressful at times, it is a full time job, especially when it comes to getting nice healthy meals on the table before everyone runs out the door on their way? Excuses can range from being up most the night with a new baby or sick child to juggling the schedule with enough time for menu planning and grocery shopping? Plus trying to make it Healthy on top of that! Wouldn't it be nice sometimes to just have a personal cook?? Think of all the more things we could accomplish? We already have so much to squeeze into our day! Well guess what......If not already in your schools it will be Coming to a school near you!!! Dinner and after school snacks are even being provided in some schools! Wow ! A Parents job just made easier! Check it out!
"Healthy-Hunger-free kids act of 2010" over @gov.org
We may not even have to qualify for this program! By eliminating paper application and census to determine school wide income.....everyone may be eligible? This is what
First Lady Michelle Obama even tells us:
"We can all agree that in the wealthiest nation on earth all children should have basic nutrition they need to learn and grow and to pursue their dreams because in the end, nothing is more important than the health and well being of our children-nothing."
I'd swear as innocent as this may all sound........Our Families are the target! What next? Really?
Did you know that there 17 million children living in "food insecure households?"
There are 1 out of 3 American children considered obese? In fact have you heard? Obesity is a Threat to our National Security?
What is gonna happen when our Country goes broke?? It was never set up to provide food, clothing and shelter for everyone? Will our Children have a hard awakening when that day comes when they "realize" that there is no such thing as a free lunch? Will they know how and have the characteristics it take to provide for their own? Our Grandchildren?
By providing everyone with Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner, will that REALLY solve the problems?
USA Today reports that on the move foundation found that 71% of children get information about how to be healthy from their Mothers, while just 43% get that information from their fathers.
What If your kitchen table could talk? What would it have to say? Could it say something about the importance of Families to your Grandchildren?
While putting a Healthy meal on the Table may seen like a sacrifice.....It may actually be a blessing for generations to come!

I have always Loved and been fascinated at the world of Interior Design. I have had the best Education A person could receive in that field. Upon graduation some of my first job offers came at the same time as starting my family. I always wanted to be a wife and a mother! While realizing that for me putting my heart and soul into a design career outside my home wasn't my life's mission . I've come to find even more then ever how important it is to "implement the "elements of design"" in our homes, it is crucial, even Vital to a Healthy Society.

“When the real history of mankind is fully disclosed, will it feature the echoes of gunfire or the shaping sound of lullabies? The great armistices made by military men or the peacemaking of women in homes and neighborhoods? Will what happened in cradles and KITCHENS prove to be more controlling than what happened in congresses? When the surf of the centuries has made the great pyramids so much sand, the everlasting family will still be standing, because it is a celestial institution, formed outside telestial time. The women of God know this... No wonder the men of God support and sustain you sisters in your unique roles, for the act of deserting home in order to shape society is like thoughtlessly removing crucial fingers from an imperiled dike in order to teach people to swim. . . ." Neal A. Maxwell

Thus the purpose here, let's talk ; "Elements of design". Oh I LOVE Furniture! Ew it's shapes and curves thrill me! The History behind how these shapes have come to be, are ever so interesting! What would life be without our Tables, beds, chairs and sofa's?......Do we take them for granted? Oh those Kitchen Tables..........If only they could talk. What would they have to say?
